Hospitality Helpers needed!

A unique opportunity for students, or young people, usually but not always from abroad, to experience the community life, prayer & service (for up to a year)

From the end of August 2010, we need 2 – 3 people to join a small residential team living in our community at Brentwood to help provide hospitality to the many groups using the facilities of our National Training Centre throughout the year.

In brief, successful applicants will live at and be part of the Hospitality Team in our Training Centre at Brentwood. Duties include house cleaning and helping to look after the hospitality of the guests who come here. We will have a number of other people in the Team so that no-one will work on their own.

We provide accommodation, food and a small weekly pocket money allowance. Helpers also have two days free time per week and can take other breaks by arrangement with the Community.

Helpers are expected to join in the daily prayer, work, study and life of the Community alongside our members, visitors and other volunteers. The experience provides a great opportunity to grow in faith!

We try to provide Helpers with basic training in evangelisation and opportunities to serve on mission although these may be limited and subject to the overall needs and requirements of the Hospitality Team.
