World Youth Day 2005 was a blistering success in many different ways. We as Sion Youth were there doing an evangelistic outreach in Bonn. Sian, the outreach Co-ordinator relfects:

"29 young people: ready to stand up, to share their own faith and to serve all to make God known! 250 people came just as God promised; the team gave all they had."

This is a beief overview of some of the events that will be running in the not too distant future within Sion

18th -19th June 2005 - Family Weekend. This weekend is an opportunity for your whole family to be served, to be refreshed and inspired. The theme of the weekend is THIRST and will involve workshops, outdoor activities and games, time to meet new people and make new friends, creative prayer, celebration of mass and sharing groups. 16th July 2005 - Celebration Day Manchester

7th - 9th October 2005 - Women's Weekend Led by Michelle Moran (Community Director) this weekend is a fantastic opportunity for women of all generations to have some space in a busy life. More details will be available nearer the time.

14th - 19th May 2006 - Leadership Training Course created and developed by Michelle Moran The Leadership Training Course is very popular and its success is well known.

28th Feb - 3rd March - Spiritual Accompaniment in association with the Chemin Neuf Community we are proud to host this long standing course which looks to aid people in the skills they will need to help others on their journey to Christ
