Sion Community Leadership Course

A SPECIALIST COURSE FOR THOSE INVOLVED IN OR MOVING INTO LEADERSHIP

In today’s world it is vital that the Church continues to grow and move forward. Confident, well trained leaders with vision and expertise are essential to make this happen.
This intensive Leadership Course will enable leaders to:

  • Grow personally and become more effective in leadership

  • Develop vision and establish strategies which facilitate growth

  • Motivate, enable and empower others

The course has a firm biblical foundation and draws upon useful management skills. It is held at S.E.N.T. in Brentwood, Essex, and all participants will have an opportunity to share in some aspects of life and prayer of Sion Community.

The course is run by:
MICHELLE MORAN

A well known and widely travelled author, preacher and teacher. Michelle has a Masters degree in Pastoral Theology where she specialised in examining appropriate models for leadership & management in the Church. She is also a President of ICCRS in Rome and serves on The Pontifical Council for the Laity.

COURSE CONTENT

The Leader:

  • A biblical understanding of leadership

  • Knowing yourself and discovering more effective strategies for leadership

  • Examining various leadership models

The Task:

  • Effective strategies for planning, developing vision, setting goals & targets

  • Time management

  • Utilising resources

The Team:

  • Team building and group dynamics

  • Taking risks, copying with success and failure

  • Dealing with conflict and harnessing differences

Cost:
The Leadership Training Course costs £250. This includes food, accommodation, tuition fees and all course materials. The course begins at 10:15am on Monday 8th and ends after lunch on Friday 12th December. To ensure the best use of our available time the course is fairly intensive with three blocks of teaching per day. Many of the sessions will be interactive and participants will be encouraged to apply the material to their own particular leadership situations.
