World
Youth Day 2005 was a blistering success in many different ways. We as
Sion Youth were there doing an evangelistic outreach in Bonn. Sian,
the outreach Co-ordinator relfects:
"29
young people: ready to stand up, to share their own
faith and to serve all to make God known! 250 people came just as God
promised; the team gave all they had."

Associate
Members come from all walks of life and are people who are committed
to the vision of Sion Community and our call to evangelise. Although
unable to participate in the Community on a full time basis perhaps
through family, work or other commitments, our Associate Members give
generously of their time, gifts and resources in support of our work.
Following
a period of ‘getting to know’ the Community, new Associate Members
make a formal commitment to the Community and are involved in the
work of our Mission Teams and in our Training Centre in Brentwood.
They participate in, and contribute to, community prayer times and
a programme of training events
Associate
Members are a valued link between Sion Community and the wider community.
Recent
months have seen the establishment of Regional Sion Community Cells
which is an area where Associate Membership comes into its own. Associate
Members take a leading role in developing Evangelisation opportunities
and activities based on the needs and aspirations of their local Parishes
and Diocese.
