The word "evangelism"

simply means to announce the Good News - of Jesus. This is achieved through a way of life that is surrendered to God so that once we accept the message of the Good News, it cannot be contained within, but must overflow to everyone around us!

Outreach & Collaboration

Sion Community

Ministry

Our community life reflects the charism of evangelisation and the call of Vatican II for priests, religious and lay people to work together in full-time ministry.

Parish Mission is at the heart of our missionary activity. Our vision is to equip and enable ordinary Catholics at the grass-roots of the Church to be active disciples of Jesus, who realise that God calls them to witness to and share their faith.

Our approach to Parish Missions leads people to a closer relationship with Jesus whilst helping the whole Parish community fulfill its own mission as an evangelising community.
